Second in this series is a community sourced entry from Timothy, a Singaporean student facing his A-levels this year. He brings with him a curious must-have he bundles with his portable rig. Read more about TImothy's rig, and the little extra something he uses to hold it all together, below.
This is my portable rig. It consists of the Shanling m1 as a Bluetooth receiver connected to the now discontinued Project Palaios Iona Amp.
The IEM I use is the Empire Ears Spartan Adel with a Manual Adjustable Module and connected to the Lionheart cable.
I now use an adhesive pad instead of the rubber band pictured.
.I think it's a must have because it's not only unobtrusive, it is also useful on the bus, I can mount my phone on the seat in front of me when I want to watch videos
I'm presently a student and I use the enjoyment of music to help me concentrate. I personally prefer a "natural neutral" signature as it allows me to concentrate on my work. I also aim to get into reviewing as a hobby and have already written some unreleased material.
This s a new series showcasing the bags from our community, and we would love to see what you've got.
We'd love for you to share your bag, your daily must-haves, your music rig, a little bit about yourself and the things you like to do.
Curating the bags and rigs in our community shows off the diversity of preferences found in the audio world. It's sometimes easy to forget that all ears are built different, and a rig that sounds completely terrible to one person might sound brilliant to another.
